Two of my Favorite things.

I am all for frugality.So, we pack our lunches. I was shocked to find out how much waste we generate from this. Plastic water bottles, brown bags, wrappers, even reusing ziploc bags, you still throw them out eventually. This year, we decided to do better. We all have our siggs. My son has the cheesebone and thinks its the greatest thing. He was in tears at soccer the other day because he had forgotten it and no other water bottle will do. We save so much money with these instead of the 4.99 case of bottled water in addition to being better for the environment. Now our new lunchbox is the laptop lunch boxes. The colors are amazing. My son brings everything home. Now that his schedule has changed. I want one for hubby's lunches.

Please share your ideas for making lunch more environmentally friendly. Also I am looking for healthy lunch ideas, recipes for kids lunches something to jazz it up a bit. We are stuck in a lunch rut right now.
